Problem
Imagine you are a young adult who just landed your first real job. You’re excited, but when you get that first paycheck, you realize no one ever taught you what to do with it. Bills, savings, taxes — it’s overwhelming.
Solution
One day, you find an app that doesn’t just teach you about budgeting and investing — it rewards you for learning. Each lesson unlocks points you can use for discounts on things you love, like streaming, groceries, or your favorite coffee. Bit by bit, you start feeling confident about your money. You know where it’s going, how to make it grow, and you even teach your friends what you’ve learned. And every step of the way, you feel good — because getting smart about your finances is finally worth it.
How I used Figma, FigJam, and Relume to design Delta-1, leading to smart ideation and quick turnaround times.
I gathered direct user feedback to uncover where people struggle most with learning about finances and managing money. Using FigJam, I ran affinity diagramming sessions to organize insights and ideate features that would motivate users — like rewards, clear budgeting tools, and bite-sized educational modules.
I then used Figma to design and prototype intuitive, engaging interfaces that brought these ideas to life. To move faster without sacrificing quality, I leveraged Relume’s AI component sets, customizing them to match Delta-1’s unique brand and user needs.
The result? A thoughtfully crafted finance, banking, and education app that helps users manage money confidently and feel rewarded for every step — all built through a design process that balanced smart ideation with efficient execution.
Relume
I used Relume to generate a starter site map, build a beginner component library, and help define the project’s overall scope — giving the entire experience a strong, organized foundation.
Bolt
I used Bolt to build a dynamic prototype that brought the user flows to life, helping me test navigation options and ensure that every entry point felt seamless and connected.
By combining thoughtful navigation design with these modern tools, I turned a complex challenge into an intuitive, user-friendly experience.
Designing Flexible User Entry Points
While designing for Delta-1 Finance, I faced the challenge of understanding how users would navigate and enter the platform from multiple touchpoints. With different user goals and contexts, it was crucial to create a system that felt intuitive no matter where the user began.
To solve this, I mapped out various user journeys and ensured that every key page could be accessed in more than one way — through clear, smart buttons, contextual links, and thoughtful menu structures. This approach gave users the freedom to move naturally through the experience without hitting dead ends or feeling lost, ultimately supporting better engagement and retention.
